Seva Foundation (Seva) is a global nonprofit eye care organization that transforms lives by restoring sight and preventing blindness. Since 1978, Seva has provided sight-saving surgeries, eyeglasses, medicine, and other eye care services to more than 40 million people in underserved communities around the world.


Globally, at least 2.2 billion people have a vision impairment, and of these, at least 1 billion people have a vision impairment that could have been prevented or is yet to be addressed. Seva’s programs have been instrumental in making eye care available to those who can't afford it. They are driven by four pillars - establishing self-sustaining vision centers, eye care for kids, bringing the best in technology, and training and job creation. Seva believes that restoring sight is one of the most cost-effective ways to relieve suffering and reduce poverty. When a blind person gets her/ his sight back, s/he can go back to work, earn, and support her/ his family. In more than 20 countries, Seva has helped nearly 5 million people who were blind to regain their sight.


Seva  works with more than 60 hospitals in India and Bangladesh to strengthen their capacity to provide quality, comprehensive eye care services. Seva’s partner hospitals share the financial and physical performance metrics on a quarterly basis such as project achievement (quantitative data and qualitative narrative) reports and financial expenditure for multiple projects through Dropbox/SharePoint which is reviewed and analyzed by Seva and Global Sight Initiative partners.

It is envisaged that the Project Coordinator (Reports) shall help Seva partners in India and Bangladesh to maintain the quality of reports and ensure that these are being submitted regularly. The position requires a smart, young, development professional and offers tremendous growth potential with well-respected, global nonprofit eye care organization.


The Project Coordinator (Reports) shall be responsible for the following key functions:


(1) Developing and implementing reporting systems and other strategies that optimize reporting efficiency and quality;
(2) Coordinating the comprehensive receipt and collation of reports from Seva partners for the purposes of Performance Analysis;
(3) Following-up with partners on reporting needs and establishing an efficient reporting culture;
(4) Supportive assistance to Seva partners for improving the quality of reporting;
(5) Responding to partner queries and needs regarding overall reporting to Seva.


Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Working with the program team to ensure that reports are readily available for further use, along with support for data entry and creation of summery briefs;

(2) Providing suggestions for improving report preparation and submission by Seva partners, including the development of quality process indicators;

(3) Supporting the identification, analyses, and interpretation of key performance indicators;

(4) Identifying anomalies in data elements/ reports based on to verification and filtration of data;

(5) Conducting training of Seva staff and partners on processes for the preparation and submission of reports;

(6) Ensuring compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, standards, and practices;

(7) Consistently advancing Seva’s objectives, values, and reputation;

(8) Following-up from partners for reports, including sending reminders and providing constructive feedback for improve reporting;

(9) Undertaking other duties, consistent with skills and experience, as directed by the Reporting Manager.




Applicants must be graduates (in any discipline) from a reputed university. Candidates with a post-graduate degree or diploma in a relevant subject, shall be preferred.



(1) Two to three years of experience in program management with emphasis on stakeholder coordination and communication;

(2) Exposure to managing program partners;

(3) Prior experience of working with non-profits shall be an advantage.


Skills and Competencies
(1) Experience of preparing presentations and communications, with proficiency in English,

Hindi, Bengali and/or other regional language;
(2) Ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing environment;
(3) Ability to document business requirements;
(4) Organise, plan and prioritise tasks within multiple projects, with minimal supervision;

(5) Communicate with, collaborate, facilitate and mobilize colleagues and partners;

(6) Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
(7) Analytical, with a detail orientation and strong problem-solving skills;

(8) Strong oral and written communication skills;

(9) Understanding of the design and development of reporting tools and dashboards.



Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive and ranges from Rs. 300,000/- to Rs. 500,000/- per annum. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.


6. Nature of Employment: The selected candidate shall be offered a full-time consultancy contract, initially for one year, with possibility of extension based on performance and mutual agreement.




The Project Coordinator (Reports) shall work remotely. Applicants based in the NCR with the ability to periodically meet with the Reporting Officer, shall be at an advantage.
