3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities consisting of maintenance of records, posting entries in books of accounts and handling TDS, GST, ESI, PF and statutory audit and taxation compliances.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The post holder will be responsible for handling the following responsibilities:

 

(1) Booking Purchases, Sales, Expenses, Receipts and preparation of relevant documents;
(2) Payments to Vendors, and Expense Reimbursements;
(3) Project Wise (Cost-Centre) Based Accounting in Tally, and MIS Reports Generation;
(4) Account Reconciliations with Vendors and Clients on routine basis;
(5) Documents Filing & Maintenance of Records;
(6) Managing Cash Withdrawal & Payments, Cash Book Entries;
(7) Monthly Salary preparations;
(8) Calculating Employees Tax Liability;
(9) TDS Calculations & Payments and compliances of returns (24Q, 26Q) filing and issue Form 16 on timely basis;
(10) EPF, ESI Calculations & Payment;
(11) GST calculations, payments, monthly GSTR-1 GSTR-3B preparation and filing on timely basis;
(12) Reconciliations of ITC with GST;
(13) Liaison with Banks and submission of timely statements as per requirements;
(14) Communicate with Clients and Vendors for relevant records and reconciliations;
(15) Inter-Branch Balance Reconciliations;
(16) Finalisation of monthly accounts and MIS;
(17) Solving Audit Queries

 

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

 

Qualifications: 
(1) Applicants must be B.Com. Graduates from a reputed institution; a reputed institution;
(2) C.A. Intermediate shall be preferred.

 

Experience: 
Applicants must possess minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting.

 

Required Skills: 
(1) Good communication skills;
(2) Ability to handle activities independently without errors;
(3) Good knowledge of Tally.ERP to harness the full functionality;
(4) Good knowledge of MS Office suite, advanced excel skills shall be an added advantage.
