2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust (HLFPPT) is a respected, not-for-profit organization, promoted by HLL Lifecare Ltd. (Public Sector Undertaking), implementing social marketing and social franchising initiatives and providing technical consultancy to the HIV/AIDS and RCH programmes in the country. HLFPPT works in partnership with international development agencies, state governments, NACO, MoHFW and GOI.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HHRA reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is a key member of the senior management team. The incumbent is a participant in key, decision-making processes for strategic planning in the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
(1) Aligning the HR Division with core businesses of HLFPPT, to meet organization goals;
(2) Formulating appropriate HR policies and ensuring their effective implementation;
(3) Managing all general HR practices such as recruitment, staffing, staff orientation and induction;
(4) Supervising the training and development plans and leading the career development planning process for permanent staff;
(5) Designing and implementing the performance management system;
(6) Ensuring timely management of payroll, compensation, benefits and severance package;
(7) All administrative and legal matters within HLFPPT.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
Applicants must have a fulltime Masters Degree in Human Resources Management/ Organizational Development/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations, or related field, from a reputed institute.
Experience:
(1) At least 12 - 15 years of experience in the field of Human Resources Management;
(2) At least 5 years of experience in leading and heading the HR and Administration function;
(3) Prior experience of working with the NGO Sector/ Public Sector/ Trusts, would be an added advantage.
Required Competencies:
(1) Strong leadership and management skills;
(2) Ability to work in a team with a strong focus on results;
(3) Conflict resolution and negotiation skills;
(4) Impeccable financial integrity;
(5) Good command over oral and written communication skills, both in English and Hindi;
(6) Willingness to travel;
(7) Strong analytical skills;
(8) Proficiency in use of computers;
(9) Fair and positive work attitude.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation budgeted for the position on Cost to Company (CTC) basis is Rs. 12-14 lacs per annum.
6. DURATION OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be offered a two year contract, extendable based on performance.
