2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
Our client is a professional service organization, promoted as a Trust by a Government of India Undertaking. The Trust has an impressive portfolio of reproductive and child health and HIV/AIDS awareness programmes being implemented in partnership with international development agencies, state governments and MoHFW.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Head-HIV/AIDS (Programmes) shall be based in NOIDA and will take overall management of the HIV/AIDS division.
Key Responsibilities:
(1) Lead the process of strategic planning, establishment of quality standards for management and implementation of projects for prevention, treatment and care of HIV infected people;
(2) Develop new business in the country as well as internationally (especially in South Asian countries) in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention;
(3) Provide proactive assistance in the designing and conducting of research, participatory research & other studies to all projects in the HIV/AIDS division;
(4) Produce international standard papers in HIV prevention, treatment and care;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification and Experience:
Applicants must be Masters in Public Health/ Health Management or PhD. in healthcare/ social sciences with minimum 10 years experience of leading and managing HIV/AIDS programmes within the context of the development sector. Experience of working with international donors and state government partners will be an added advantage.
Required Competencies:
(1) Strong leadership and team-building abilities including strategic planning skills
(2) Excellent interpersonal with the ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams.
(3) A strong research experience in the field of HIV/AIDS.
(4) Effective networking and communication skills.
(5) Proficiency in computers
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Compensation offered will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the candidate and will be approximately Rs. 12.00 lacs per annum on Cost to Company (CTC) basis.
